World Naked Bike Ride

World Naked Bike Ride (WNBR) - I see painted naked people on bicycles!, yes you read it correctly: people have been organising naked bike rides around the world to protest againt environmental issues. Personally I find the idea brilliant! And not only because the prospect of seeing fit women naked on bikes (I assume they are, if they ride bikes regularly), I mean, this should clearly draw some attention, and the bike thing has everything to do with avoiding driving vehicles based on fossile fuels.

Hard Rock Hallelujah

I might be going over the top here posting so many videos in a row, but this one just could not be missed. Up until yesterday I had no idea that a song contest called Eurovision even existed, yet today I was reading the news from BBC and the news from that contest caught my eye, telling about Finnish monsters winning it. Pretty bizarre if you ask me, I wonder if Günther would win such a competition.

Anyways, check out these Finns...

Wasabi Contest

I might not be a specially clever person, and you might even critisise me for being a Jackass wannabe, but it was sort of fun to show my ability to withstand consuming a large amount of pure wasabi along with my friends.

You may laugh at me with these video.

BTW, if you have never heard my voice before, don't panic.

Violence in Brazil

I'm back to my adopted home in England, and back to work in my PhD. I don't want to get mushy, but it was kind of sad in the first days. I could get used to being pampered by my family in Brazil. Regardless, life goes on, and it just took me a few days of work to forget about the more frivolous aspects of life.

To my sadness, I have been following the news about the violence in São Paulo, and I went into one of those moments in which I was almost embarassed to be brazilian. Let me stress this one more time almost embarassed, because I am still a believer in my country's future potential.

Another blow to my national pride was listening to a clip from the brazilian version of that american piece of excrement called American Idol. The reader that cannot understand portuguese can be considered lucky this time, as the following video shows an act of murder against the brazilian national anthem.
